  5. If the adjective already ends with -s or -x, don’t change anything in the plural! Il est roux. Ilssont roux. *Same with “heureux” (happy)

  6. Some adjectives have DIFFERENT feminine forms! Il n’est pas beau. Elle est belle.

  7. Il estgentil. Elle n’est pas gentille. Il n’est pas sportif. Elle est sportive.

  8. Some adjectives are INVARIABLE: they never change! • châtain • marron • orange
