  10. Requirements for University • 2 Years of a World Language • Must be the same world language both years • Spanish is offered at LHS • Want a different language? Maybe French, German, American Sign Language, Russian, Japanese, Arabic? • Wait until 11th grade and take a different language at Everett Community College through the Running Start program. • Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry • You can take this after you complete Algebra & Geometry • Third year of Science • You can take this in 11th or 12th grade • Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Biology (Forensics), Astrobiology, Oceanography/Marine Biology

  22. FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) Q: When will I get my schedule of classes? A: At Cougar Days in August. Q: What if I don’t like my classes? A: You can request schedule changes at Cougar Days and the first week of school. Q: Can we wear hats and hoods? A: Hats & hoods are allowed everywhere at school. However, in the classroom, the teacher decides. Q: Can we have food & drinks in class? What about gum? A: It is up to each teacher. Q: Can I bring my backpack to class? A: Yes. Q: Do I have to share a locker? A: Yes, 9th graders share a locker with one other person. Lockers are assigned at Cougar Days in August. You can pick your locker buddy.
