  3. Mr. Sir • Always eating sunflower seeds. • He is not the nicest person. • He doesn’t like Stanley much after he gets slapped by the warden.

  4. Alan • Nickname, Squid! • He is as tough as X-ray, but follows his directions. • Squid makes fun of Stanley for the letters to his mom.

  5. Rex • Nickname, X-Ray! • Is known as the leader of the boys. • Has bad vision and is small. • He is nice to Stanley after he gives him the gold tube.

  6. Stanley • Nickname, Caveman! • Overweight and has really bad luck. • Blamed for a crime he didn’t commit.

  7. Ricky • Nickname, Zig-zag! • Long skinny neck. • Frizzy blonde hair and a big head. • Hits Stanley in the head with a shovel and doesn’t apologize.

  8. Jose • Nickname, Magnet! • Gets his nickname because he steals. • He steals Mr. Sir’s sunflower seeds.

  9. Kate Barlow • School teacher who turned into an outlaw after her love was murdered. • She was in-love with Sam, a black man. • After she killed her victims she kissed them. • Lived on Green Lake 110 years ago.

  10. Warden • She is a cruel person. • Head of the camp. • She has deadly nail polish. • She is the descendent of Linda and Charles Walker.
