  3. Home time • KS1(reception) children are collected from their classes at 3.20pm • Nursery children are collected from the Nursery door. • If you are going to be late collecting your child please let us know. St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  4. Jewellery and Phones • No jewellery should be worn except a small pair of gold studs if children have pierced ears. • No watches are allowed in school St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  5. P.E Kit • ALL kit must sent into school on Monday and taken home on Friday • Plain white T shirt • Navy blue shorts   • Black Plimsolls • Grey/black tracksuit bottoms, for winter only. Any problems with uniforms, please let the school know. St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  6. Sickness • If your child is unwell and unable to attend school please call the office by 8.30am. 020 7274 4343 • Please note we are unable to administer any medicines at school e.g. antibiotics • Asthma pumps should be labelled with the child’s name and class and given to the school office for use in school St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  7. Holidays We strongly recommend that you do not remove your child from school during the school term as it disrupts your child’s education. However if the situation is unavoidable written permission must be obtained from the Head Teacher. Forms are available from the school office. St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  8. Dinner Money • Hot dinners are available for children these are free for KS1 children • Please let us know if you are eligible for free school dinners as this enables us to claim additional funding to support your child. St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton

  9. Religious Education • All topic planning starts by considering the RE aspects. The school follows the ‘Come and See’ education programme which has been approved by the Bishops. • We provide numerous opportunities for prayer both on a daily and specially planned session basis. Children have many opportunities to attend Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. • Children will also learn about other world faiths St Helen’s RC Primary School Brixton
