  • Will be of value to DPETs and JMO Managers to identify potential gaps in supervision of junior medical staff.

Delivery

  • 50-60 Questions, delivered online

  • Pretesting by HETI JMO Forum representatives

  • An expert in Qualitative Analysis to redraft final questions

  • Communicated to all PGY-1 and PGY-2 doctors in NSW and ACT by end 2012

Publication

  • Results of the Census will be reported on in late 2012.

  • Published via a dedicated publicly accessible website.

Future Directions

  • We hope to produce this survey annually, and gain long-term perspective on the state of JMOs.

  • Reduce survey fatigue by consolidating various alternative surveys targeting JMOs.
