Miracles… • Miracle for me, may not seem that way to you. • There seems to always be a need for additional proof. • The need for miracles increases as our faith in God decreases.
What Miraculous Sign…? • John 6:14 – After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
What miraculous sign…? • John 6:15 Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.
What miraculous sign…? • John 6:30 - So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?
Spiritual Blindness • Matthew 13:13 This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
Seeing the miracle • John 6:30 - So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
Seeing the miracle • John 6:32 - Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
