Takes a Village to Raise Money $$$ • County Office, Campus, 4-H Members and Parents, Master Gardeners, Farm Bureau, Commodity Groups, FCD, Cooperatives, Chamber of Commerce, Legislators, Unions, Community College, SBDC, County Court, Teachers, Friends, Family, Neighbors, Farmers, Ranchers, Local Newspapers…..

  6. Issues • Marketing Plan/Timeline (who/when) • What’s In a Name – 4-H & Extension • October – 4-H Recruitment • Local support – technical (County Admin., Clerk, Attorney, other agencies/university) • Costs (election, legal etc.) • Competition – Push Back

  7. Promotion – Issues • When to start your campaign • Start slow and build in intensity • Endorsements by a variety of service groups, individuals, local newspapers, legislators, commodity groups…….. • Advisory Councils • Chamber of Commerce – Join!!!!
