  1. How to Book A Room/ Request Space Department of Student Life

  2. Visit the campus groups website at utsc-campusgroups.ca, move the cursor over the “Request Space” tab and click on “Booking Form”.

  3. Login in with your UTSC id and password.

  4. Under “Manage my organization(s)”, choose your desired organization and click “Request Space”.

  5. You will arrive at the “Apply for an event” page. Click on “Next”.

  6. On the “Event Information” page, fill out all the required fields. In the box “Describe your event” please use detail.

  7. Once the information has been filled out, click on “Next”.

  8. Select the type of space you require for your event.

  9. As a reminder, the following rooms are classified under “Classroom space”: AC227 HW305 IC atrium AA112 atrium SY110 atrium AA160 Ralph & Campbell Lounge SW403 (old council chambers)

  10. If it is classroom space, indicate the number of rooms you need, your preferred classroom(s) and any classroom requirements.

  11. In the classroom requirement box, for example, please state if you require flat space or a smart room. Then click on “Next”.

  12. If it is the Meeting Place, indicate the type of booking, number of tables (if necessary), and select the options that apply for your event.

  13. If it is Athletics Space, indicate the type of space, and select the options that Apply to your event.

  14. If it is the R-260 Studio Lounge, you can simply select it.

  15. Once you have selected your space, click on “Next”.

  16. If you are serving food at your event, select “Will you be serving/ selling food at this event?*” and fill out the required fields. If not, click “Next”.

  17. If you are serving alcohol at your event, select the options that apply. If not, click “Next”.

  18. If you need cleanup or setup, select the option “Do you require maintenance or cleanup at your event?*” and fill out the required fields. If not, click “Next”.

  19. If you require audio/ visual equipments, select the option and list the equipment needed. If not, click “Next”.

  20. You must read the confirmation of booking policies and select, “I understand”.

  21. Once that’s done, enter your preferred e-mail address, and click “Next.

  22. Once everything is filled in, click “Finish” in order to complete your request.

  23. YOU’RE DONE! You have successfully requested space for your event!
