Biology 2404 • One semester survey course in human anatomy and physiology originally only taught on campus • Originally offered to help prepare students for Biology 2401 and 2402; pre-requisites for nursing • Biology 2404 or Biology 2401 are allowed for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program • Navarro College OTA program is one of the few in our area

  7. Biology 2404 • Why offer an online version? • Some students live two hours from our campus • These students were taking Biology 2404 online from another college

  8. Biology 2404 • Wet labs are unique to science courses • Simulations do not adequately replace wet labs

  9. Biology 2404 • Online courses are a growing reality for colleges • Navarro College offers several online biology courses • Lab decisions are made by each instructor
