  8. Navigate to http://paine.studentemployment.nelnet.net • Click ‘Students’

  9. Click ‘Shop for A Job’ • To go directly to a recently posted listing, click the Job Title in the ‘Recently posted jobs’ section

  10. Quick Search: A search containing pre-defined criteria • Click ‘Quick Search’ for each type of search • Click ‘Advanced Search’ to define your own criteria

  11. Click the Job Title to view details • For help, click the ‘i’ • To start another search, click ‘Run a New Search’, located under the search results

  12. Click the ‘Click here to apply for this job’ link • To return to the search results, click ‘Return to search results’ • To view additional help information, click the ‘i’

  13. Fill out the questions on the application • USE YOUR APPLICABLE STUDENT ID!!!

  14. To print your application, click ‘View Printable Version’

  15. Click ‘Print This Window’

  16. To continue without printing, click ‘Student Employment Home’ on the NavBar

  17. Sign Up For JobMail

  18. Navigate to http://paine.studentemployment.nelnet.net • Click ‘JobMail’

  19. Enter your Institutional e-mail address & Password • Select “Log In”

  20. Click ‘Add New Subscription’

  21. Click ‘View/Modify’ to add criteria for each criteria • You may set search criteria for Employers, Job Categories, and Time Frames

  22. Click ‘add’ next to each item you wish to add to your search.

  23. Your results will appear in the top under ‘Selected Items’.

  24. When finished adding search criteria, click ‘Done’

  25. Click ‘Save Subscription(s)’ to save your subscription

  26. If you would like to add information about yourself, click ‘Edit My Profile’

  27. To edit your biographical information, click ‘Update User Info and Password’

  28. To change your graduation year, click ‘Edit Info’ under ‘JobX Student User Info’ • To return to the Student Employment Home page, click the link in the NavBar.

  29. You’re Hired! Now what do you do?

  30. Enter a Timesheet!

  31. To access your timesheets, first click the ‘Students’ link from the Student Employment Home page.

  32. Click ‘My Timesheets’ from the NavBar.

  33. IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME? IF SO, CREATE AN ACCOUNT! • If this is the first time you’re entering timesheets, click ‘click here’ in the login box.

  34. Enter your institutional e-mail address and click ‘Submit’

  35. Check your e-mail. • Click the link in your e-mail. You can also copy and paste it • into your browser if clicking the link does not work.

  36. Enter your password and click ‘Submit’

  37. Click the link for students to automatically log in and continue to your list of jobs.

  38. IF YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT, LOG IN WITH YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD (Paine Student ID)

  39. Click your job title to view your timesheets.

  40. If this is the first time you are entering a timesheet for the current pay period, click ‘Start Timesheet’. If you have already entered time for the current pay period, the link will be labeled ‘Go to Timesheet’.

  41. Click ‘OK’ on the confirmation dialog box.

  42. Click ‘Add a New Entry’ to enter your time.

  43. Select the start time for the day you are entering time.

  44. Select the end time for the day you are entering time.

  45. You may optionally add break time if needed. • Click ‘Add’ to save your time entry.

  46. If you are finished entering time, click ‘Return’ to return to your list of jobs. • If you wish to log out, click the ‘Log out’ button and you will return to the Student Employment Home.

  47. Done Entering Time? Hand It In!

  48. Click ‘Go to time sheet’ to review your entries

  49. Click ‘Hand in this Time Sheet’

  50. Click ‘Submit Time Sheet’
