Efficiency Vermont / VEIC Background • Efficiency Vermont is a statewide energy efficiency utility that encourages the adoption of energy-efficient products and practices. • Administered by Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC), a mission-driven nonprofit consulting and implementation firm. • 25 years reducing economic & environmental costs of energy • Energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation • 3 VEIC administers Energy Efficiency Utilities

Municipal Street Lighting Program • Vermont has approximately 15,000 Municipal Street Lights • Potential savings 8 million Kilowatt hours per Year • Vermont has three large Electrical Utilities: • Green Mountain Power(GMP) • Central Vermont Public Service(CVPS)GMP acquired it in 2012 • Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) • Started looking into this in 2010
