  1. XSENSOR vs. Competitors

  2. Our Goal • Our goal is to provide our customers with innovative solutions and the best technology in the world. • We strive to achieve longstanding customer relationship.

  3. Our Strengths • Durability • XSENSOR has the most durable mattress sensor pad on the market • Repeatability • XSENSOR’s mattress sensor holds its calibration much better than its competitors • This is important for obtaining repeatable results • You will not have to continually recalibrate your sensor pad • Sensor resolution / accuracy • Resolution is important because you want to accurately measure specific parts of the body (e.g. to analyze pressure points that can cause tossing and turning at night) • The lower the sensor resolution, the higher the error; and conversely, the higher the sensor resolution, the lower the error. • No competitor has the mattress sensor resolution offered by XSENSOR • X3 Retail Mattress Sensor Pad = 1,664 sensing points • FSA/SPI has only 1,024 sensors • X3 R&D Mattress Sensor Pad = 10,240 sensing points • FSA/SPI has only 2,048 sensors

  4. What you Get XSENSOR is the ONLY pressure mapping company with the experience to handle large and small mattress sensor implementations We offer you: • Production Capacity • Quality Assurance • Technical Support • Software Development • Significant reinvestment into R&D

  5. At-a-glance • *XSENSOR’s system remains accurate overtime. Even when the sensor pas is crunched the readings remain accurate. **Vista medical’s system are made of plastic so the readings are not accurate when crunched. They also need to be recalibrated frequently. • ***Approximate, may not be accurate.

  6. At-a-glance • *XSENSOR’s system remains accurate overtime. Even when the sensor pas is crunched the readings remain accurate. • **Approximate, may not be accurate.

  7. FSA Replacing a sensor pad will likely cost more than US$ 2,000 More importantly, a pressure mapping program that fails to deliver the expected results is a waste of time and money. Therefore it is smart to invest in the best technology.

  8. Vista Medical • Images are ghosted • Poor repeatability: Often requires recalibration after first use to provide similar accuracy • High hassle factor: Due to recalibration requirements • Poor accuracy: Key customers such as Sealy have not been impressed • Poor durability: Wireless sensor did not work well, and sensors required premature repairs

  9. Tekscan Hardware • Because the inside is stiff, the sensor does not conform well and creates its own shape (Need to verify if this affects pressure readings) • Flexible, stretchy fabric • Sewn • Metal eyelets at corners • Inside, cut outs and stiffer plastic

  10. Tekscan • Hardware • Inside, cut outs and stiffer plastic • “Cable” is short: have to be close to computer • “Cable” is stiff: feels like it will break and can easily be damaged • Connection needs to be clamped very accurately in order to get accurate measurements. Needs to align with each “circle”

  11. Tekscan • Just started working in the mattress market. • They do not manufacture their own mattress sensor (they purchase them from Japan) • Previous mattress sensors were 3 seat sensors strung together. Believed to still not have a own full size mattress sensor.

  12. ErgoCheck • It can measure 1 or 2 person • Measures: • Up to 5 mattresses. • Back and side positions • On screen: • there is a big picture • with colours: dark red and blues • Change from one to another person is made by clicking on person • but the best is that after you make measure you can adjust type of sleep, back or side by percent for each person and at it show result you can again change those percentage and make a new read not having to start measure again.

  14. ErgoCheck

  15. ErgoCheck

  16. ErgoCheck

  17. ErgoCheck • Once a dominant player, now their product is outdated • Their mattress sensor is made of many air pockets, resulting in a thick sensor pad, therefore interfering with the accuracy of data

  18. Kaymed • Does not measure pressure or contact area to a mattress • Can’t correlate comfort • Creates an outline on 9 points of the body • Matches the outline to a mattress. Biased to one brand
