  3. The Situation: (Use slide layout that includes Title, to link slides) • Describe the situation here. Mindy and Mandy are late in handing in their first dropbox assignment. The deadline has come and gone. What should you do? Record the “F” and move on. Inform parents by email of “F”. Contact Mindy and Mandy by email, IM, or phone, ASAP.

  4. Record the F and move on • Mindy and Mandy drop the course in frustration and defeat.

  5. Inform parents by email of “F” Mindy drops the course in frustration and defeat. Mandy’s parents contact you and tell you that Mandy has been trying to get help. She has done her work but cannot hand it in. They are frustrated.

  6. Contact Mindy and Mandy • Mindy and Mandy say their work was done on time, but that they could not get the dropbox to work. Refer them to tech support Ask Mindy and Mandy if they have completed the dropbox tutorial in the orientation. Refer them to it. Have Mindy and Mandy send the assignment as an email attachment, ask about the tutorial, and refer to tech support if needed.

  8. Email assignments and help • Everyone is happy and your students are learning.

  9. Basic Directions • Each slide should have a title. This makes it easier to link to the slide. • Try and tie up loose ends. Have the scenario end in different ways. • Use a home button or restart so that users can try other options. • Try to work within a 9 slide limit unless your scenarios connect to those of a classmate. • Use text hyperlinks to link between slides, or you can copy the buttons I have in the template, right click, and edit the hyperlinks. • Make some attempt at making it visually appealing. Every little bit helps in making learning more fun.
