  2. What is Leadership? • Leadership is an after school elective group that helps plan fun events for the Middle School! • It is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:20-4:00 in Ms. Schultz’s room (room 221)

  3. What Kinds of Events Are There? • The Middle School has had all sorts of fun events! Some examples are:

  4. Events During and After School Halloween Costume Contest 7th Grade Mini Lock In

  5. Events the Middle School Can Enjoy Together Pancake Breakfast Rallies

  6. Events to Build School Spirit Spirit Weeks Dances

  7. Events to Help Others WE Day Food/Supply Drives for the Food Bank or Oakland Animal Services

  8. Events Just to Have Fun! 8th Grade Great America Trip All School Talent Show

  9. How Can You Get Involved? • You can come to the Tuesday/Thursday meetings any time! • If you want to be even more involved, you can run for office. The positions are: • President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Grade Representatives.

  10. What Do Those People Do? • President (8th Grade only) is in charge of running meetings overall • Vice President (8th Grade only) helps the president and takes their place if they need to • Secretary- keeps track of paperwork/notes • Treasurer-keeps track of leadership funds • Grade Rep- makes sure their grade’s interests are heard

  11. How Do You Run? • If you’d like to run, stop by room 221 and pick up an application from Ms. Schultz. • Elections will be during the September Master Class (9/26) • If you don’t want to run, but you still want to be in Leadership, just show up to the Tuesday or Thursday meetings!
