  1. First, choose one of the black notebooks that are sitting by the computers. Second, put a white label on the spine of the binder at the bottom.

  2. On the label, make aGREEN DOT – if you are in first block BLUE DOT – if you are in third block RED DOT – if you are in fifth block (markers are in buckets by computers)

  3. Take yourVOCABULARY SHEET and put it in the frontpocket of your binder

  4. The first page in your notebook should be theblue “Books I Have Completed” sheet.

  5. You may have to usethe hole punch toprepare your papersfor your new notebook.

  6. After the blue sheet,your book pass formshould be the next page in your notebook. (If you need any of these forms,see Mrs. Vealey)

  7. The next sheets that go in your notebook are the annotation sheets. You mayhave two to four of these, both the styles shown above. You should put themin there with the oldest on top.

  8. Next comes any letters that you have written to me about the books youare reading, oldest in first. Include any rubrics you have with those.

  9. The final thing going in there at this time are the paragraphs you wrote for me at the beginning of school. Oldest in first.
