  2. Agenda: • What is Log Collector • How to use Log Collector Utility

  3. What is Log Collector: Log Collector is a utility in the ILM Web UI to collect the “job Step Logs”, “Applimation Logs” and also the “IDV Logs” at one time corresponding to particular time frame or particular job. Log Collector utility is present in ILM 6.4 HF2 and above versions.

  4. Hoe to use the “Log Collector” utility • Login to Data Archive Web UI • Open ‘Jobs -> Log Collector' menu in Web UI.

  5. Get the logs of particular time interval or for particular job: • To get the logs generated in the particular time frame fill the following: • Start Date • End Date • To get the logs generated in the particular time frame fill the following: • Extractor or Loader Job ID • If the IDV logs are also required provide the : • Data Vault Server Log Directory • Data Vault Agent Log Directory (The Data vault should be installed in the Local Machine where the ILM server is installed.)
