  5. Why did I decided for Marie Curie • Thesis at the industry • Wanted to go abroad again • Industry partner take part in MC ITN and suggested to take a look…

  6. Pros • Get to know a new Country (or several) ! • Cooperation: University with industry ! • Lots of opportunities for traveling ! • Meeting new people and build a network ! • Good scientific backbone in the project ! • Good funding for your scientific work, for conferences and for visiting partner organizations (and a good salary as well)

  7. Contras • Language problems (e.g. French course not good) • Organizational problems (e.g. how to arrange you travel schedule) • Administrative problems (e.g. difficult to get the right contract and integration problems with the university) • But don’t worry: Every problem can be solved!

  8. My personal experience Ask yourself: What do I want: If you want to go abroad, Marie Curie is a very good choice! My new collogues from the Rainbow-project (from Spain, Vietnam, Belarus, India, Poland, Germany and more…)
