INTRODUCTION • Mahabaleshwar is the highest hill station in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, it is situated at an elevation of 1372 meters around the Vennalake. • This place has a strong historical connection with Maharaja Shivaji - the heroic Maratha warrior king. • Today it has become a most popular holiday resort and honeymoon spot, and an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.

Climates of Mahabaleshwar • Mahabaleshwar is located atop the Sahyadri mountain ranges, bestowed with some of nature's choicest majesty. • The place is most favorable holidaying destination among tourists, for its pleasant climatic conditions. • Temperature: • Maximum: 29oC (Summers) • Minimum: 13oC (Winters). • Best Time To Visit: • Climate is pleasant throughout the year, but the best time to visit is between October and June.  • Cottons and light woolen cloths are the recommended attire.
