3. About Us YashNanotech Ltd nurtures new scientific findings in research laboratories and transforms them into valuable products in the market. It consists of a group of enthusiastic and experienced members drawn from well known Research Institutions, engineers with specialized training in Nanotechnology as well as Industry experts.It fosters a network of technology experts in diverse fields of Nanotechnology including Nanobiotechnology, in order to lay a roadmap for its forthcoming innovative products. This network extends beyond the Indian continent to include many international Nanotechnology Associations, companies and government bodies.

Activities of YashNanotech Ltd • YASHNANOTECH focuses broadly on three areas that signify the upward roadmap of the company. • YASHNANOTECH is engaged in nanotechnology based product manufacturing, product development and research scholar projects. YASHNANOTECH endeavors to bring products out of Research laboratories with a clear mandate of providing them to the commercialized market. • An entirely new approach for commercial applications across a broad spectrum of industries is being attempted. Tailor-made products having functionally nanometer scale dimensions are being manufactured using massively parallel systems or self-assembly. The current activities mainly focus on new nanomaterials, high performance nanotools and nanodevices.

6. Products Many products are being launched. These include highly sensitive substrates for Raman spectroscopy, metal sponges, modified AFM tips etc.

7. Product Developement A Product development involves interaction with an interested researcher who is coming up an innovative idea, evaluation of the feasibility of transforming scientific findings into a product by experts, pilot-level testing and quality approval and market research. A Questionnaire sets the platform for initial stage of the interaction with the researcher. Terms & Conditions will be specified. Once the details are available, upon agreed terms, in-person discussion and project planning for product development will take place. 

8. Research Scholar Projects • YashNanotech Ltd encourages highly motivated students who are in their final stages of graduation/post-graduation in Science or Engineering, to apply for short-term or long-term projects on product development. Short-term projects will last for few weeks while long-term projects are usually carried out over few months. A selected student will have to obtain permission from the concerned authority at his/her Institution as well as from the parents/guardians. •  On agreed terms, each selected student or group of students will be made to interact with a designated scientist during this period on well focused topic related to a product development. The start date and work schedule will be fixed up in consideration with all concerned. A nominal stipend may be given to the student during this period.

9. YashNanotech Ltd Awards • YASHNANOTECH recognizes inventions leading to Nanotechnology products and achievements in business & industry in Nanotechnology field. There are three different annual awards. • YASHNANOTECH ANNUAL SCIENTIST AWARD is given to a scientist whose contributions in Nanotechnology applications are outstanding. Individual scientists from within India are eligible to apply. The Award consist of a certificate, a medal and a cash prize. • YASHNANOTECH ANNUAL BUSINESSMAN AWARD is given to a business man/woman whose achievements in business & industry in Nanotechnology field are outstanding. Individual business persons from within India are eligible to apply. The Award consist of a certificate and a medal. • YASHNANOTECH ANNUAL STUDENT AWARD is given to a student or a group of students whose contributions in Nanotechnology applications in terms of their project work are outstanding. Individual students or groups of students from within India are eligible to apply.
