Leonardo da VinciInnovation Projects - European Priorities • Why the project was necessary?(needs addressed - problems solved): • "It's time" aimsat transferring key elements of the late Germanqualification programme of 'workplacetutor' (Berufspädagoge) to other Europeancountries and in return to receive input forfurther developments in Germany. • The qualification programme is targeted at in-companytrainers and tutors who wish to developtheir pedagogic and didactic skills, and to gain more knowledgeabout the management and coordination ofvocational training processes in their companies.

(process – implementation): • All training material will be availableonline on an e-learning platform (EN, DE, IT, FI, NL, PO) • The project aims to develop and testuseful learning arrangements throughout Europe, especially through the development ofblended learning modules designed to supportpractical and work process-integrated learningforms. • The integration into theNQF/EQF system will be applied as well as the applicability ofboth the ECVET concept and the ECTS systemwill be examined.

(results with regard to European priority): • New transnational qualification 'workplace tutor‘ • responds to the manifold requirements for vocational training staff, in particular for in-company trainers • integrates elements such as didactic, methodology, or new role and management competencies.
