(Positive or negative) • To sell a product or idea or persuade you to think in a certain way. • Examples: commercials, advertisements, movie trailers, lawn signs. • Purpose of propaganda is to convince the USA to enter the war.

(endorsement) • Plain folks: everyday people use product. • Transfer: symbols or quotes used that are not associated with product. • Logical Fallacies: If one thing is true, it must always be true for someone else.
