  2. Homographs Homographs are words which have the same spelling, but have different meanings, and may have different pronunciations. Example: present I absolutely adored my birthday present. Was the student present in class this morning? Who will present our new ideas to the principal?

  3. Irregular Verbs Irregular verbs do NOT follow the regular pattern for changing the verb tense. A Few Examples: became taught risen blown

  4. Prefix: Photo- photo = light (Greek origin) Key Words: telephoto, photographer

  5. Spelling Words light frozen school knew present known became driven forgiven telephoto taken photometer woken photosynthesis blown photocopy taught photographer risen photography
