  1. Control CenterAdministration Module August, 2011 Welcome to Control Center. The intent of this module is to provide an introductory view of the features and functionality available in Control Center for the Administration module. Individualized training modules have been established for each segment and service available in Control Center. For links to customized training videos, visit the Message Center after logging in. Availability of CenturyLink Services varies. Check availability.

Control Center Control Center is a free, secure, self-service Web portal that provides access to critical tools enabling easy, safe and fast management of invoices, network configuration and statistics and trouble reporting. Control Center is a robust online reporting tool that can help improve your operation by delivering useful knowledge and greater insight into your business. The portal’s simple navigation and business-friendly resources help users across your organization find the information they need quickly and easily -- at the level of detail needed. All without complicated training. All you need to get started is your computer and Internet access. The portal is available anytime, anywhere 24/7/365.

  3. Control Center Administration Manager. • The Administration Manager is the command center for your enterprise. • From the Administration module, your Company’s System Manager (CSA) can: • Create new and manage existing user of Control Center. • Control the permissions of each user. For example, you may only want some or your employees to be able to re-route your toll-free numbers. • Assign which billing account a user can access for eBilling.

Control Center my profile. • On the My Profile screen, you can update your profile, include your password. • There are two important fields on this screen: • The Customer System Administrator (CSA) radio button assigns all permissions to your Control Centeraccounts. • The Notification Preference* is a required field that allows the user to suppress the bill ready email notification. • *Notification Preference is only available to users with eBill Admin permissions.

Control Center manage users and permission levels. • Manage/create users • Allows Customer System Administrators (CSAs) to create new users, add/remove permissions and accounts to existing users and modify existing user profiles. Establishing a new user is comprised of three steps: • Create new user • Assign user permissions • Assign accounts to new user profile Permission levels Assign permissions for each service, billing, user management and IP configurations. Assign permissions based on the level of support the profile you are establishing will provide to your enterprise.

Add accounts to user The Add Accounts to User screen allows you to assign individual customer accounts to the user. • Modify user profile • Allows Customer System Administrators (CSAs) to: • Add/remove user permissions • Add/remove accounts from an existing user • Modify existing user profiles • Reset passwords

  7. Control Center adding additional accounts and user approval. Adding Additional Accounts The Add Additional Accounts screen allows you to add more accounts to your customer profile. This functionality enables you to group multiple accounts under a single Enterprise ID within the system. User approval The User Approval screen displays a list of new users that self registered to the site. The Customer System Administrator (CSA ) needs to approve access for these users.

Control Center enterprise details. • The Enterprise Details screen controls your enterprise's self registration function. • When Self Registration is enabled, you can place higher standards on user passwords. • You may use the Control Center to manage a broad range of CenturyLink services, including: • Nationwide ATM and Frame Relay • CenturyLink IQ™ Networking • Dedicated Hosting Collocation • Managed Firewall-VPN • Dedicated and SWI Long Distance • Contact Center (Hosted IVR, EZ Route) • Network Management • SIP Trunking • Toll-Free and Local Services • Cloud Services • Metro Ethernet Services • Availability of these services varies by product.
