  2. HISTORY ‘ITS STORY’ • 1997 – 2000 the pilot projects Europe • in the Czech Republic - since 2000 • 29.2002 – EC accreditation of the ELP for higher education • in CASALC since 2002 • in January 2003 – workshop presentation by dr.Radka Perclová (co-operator ofprof.D. Little), Brno

  3. First coordinating meeting29-4-03, Prague • 13 FL teachers from 7 language centres • implementation of the ELP since winter semester (October) 2003 • as part of regular courses as a special course • teacher and student questionnaires at the end of each semester

  4. Assessment of all the three parts of the ELP, esp.: * self evaluation * list of courses, certificates * intercultural heritage * motivation & aims * dossier Understanding of levels A1 – C2 Understanding of descriptors T + SQuestionnaires

  5. Methodological issues: * changes in methods of teaching * types of textbooks * future use of the ELP * changes in syllabuses * implementation of the ELP into test/exam strategies Experience & Future use of the ELP T Questionnaires S Questionnaires

  7. 9-6-2004Final evaluation of T + S Questionnaires • 7 LC, about 300 students (16+) in CZ + • 1 course (10 students) in the Czech Study Center at Université Libre Bruxelles, Belgium

  8. STUDENTS & COURSES • Languages: E, Fr, G, Czech for foreigners • Mother tongues: Cz, Sk, R, It, Gr, Fr, Sp, E • ELP: E + Fr + in 1 course G • Types of courses: intermediate and higher (B1 – C1), mostly LSP

  19. 2004 - 2005 • Implementation • Translation of the ELP – done by 7 LC, corrections are now going on • Grant money from the Czech Ministry of Education for the translation & translators • EC accreditation in spring 2005
