Speed friending • Speed dating • Sample questions to ask others • Hobbits • How often do you drink alcohol? • Do you like shopping online? • Do you like visiting museums? • How often do you go to movie theater? • Your favorite sport to watch/play • Environment • Do you turn off the water when you brush your teeth? • Do you remember to turn off lights when you leave a room? • Lifestyle • Do you prefer to live in an apartment or a townhouse? • Something you will do when you are 40 years old • Something you will do if you become a millionaire • Name a romantic place for wedding • Personalities • Are you a good listener? Are you talkative? • Are you an extrovert/introvert? • Can you describe yourself as aggressive? • Are you comfortable and confident in using English? • Do you like to be the center of attention? • Don’t ask questions too private; • Always be polite and friendly .

  4. Discuss in a group of 3 (10 minutes) come up with at least 5 questions you want to ask others, for the purpose of finding out your ideal friends. You can write down these questions, and explain to your group why you design these questions. What kind of personalities /information do you expect to get by asking these questions?

  5. Find him/ her (20 minutes) Walk around the classroom to talk with those you are interested in (at least 8), ask them questions related, and take notes for your further choices. Write down the name of the person you choose on your card (only one), and hand it in. You will get prize at the end of the class if the person you choose also chooses you.
