  1. Bold Leads - 6 Ways to Influence Decision Making

  2. Home buyers and sellers won’t just contact you based on your glamour photos alone. Here’s a few ways to nudge them along…

  3. 1. Decisions are made subconsciously A handful of recent studies dictate that the human mind doesn’t make decisions based on rational thought. It makes decisions based on a deeper, subconscious level. You can throw facts and numbers at consumers all day long, but in most cases, the decision is made based on a snap-judgement, trust signals and irrational indicators.

  4. 2. An early emotional connection dramatically boosts conversions Simply said, once consumers feel that they prefer one option, it is much harder for them to change their mind. Attempts at rationalizing with data will only reinforce their initial choice.

  5. 3. Social media may help It’s probably safe to say that social media is a relationship building tool, and a recent study found that people are more comfortable buying from an individual or company they follow on Facebook or Twitter. Just make sure you are always providing value, and encouraging as much interaction with your followers as possible. I’ll leave the other tips for another post.

  6. 4. Simple sells The easier it is to understand what your offer is, the higher the likelihood that someone will take you up on it. A great example of this is when you go into a best buy to buy a camera. There are tons of options, each with different settings and features, which results in an ‘analysis paralysis’. People will get overwhelmed, freeze up, and not buy anything at all. Think simple with all of your marketing, web and operations efforts. People prefer stuff that is clear, clean and simple. A way that you can implement this right away, is to make your website easy to read and navigate, and make your call to actions detailed, emotional and clear.

  7. 5. Testimonials and reviews This is huge. Consumers frequently base their decisions based on public reviews. Make sure you have a Yelp, MerchantCircle, Zillow, Trulia, and Google Places account with positive reviews from your past clients. Don’t fake these or buy reviews on Fiverr! These sites will screen out your phony reviews, and you will look like a chump. Also, consider setting up a basic site that encourages your clients to review your agents.

  8. Have a presence on multiple platforms Consumers will Google you and Google your company. They will research you and make decisions based on the information they uncover. Make sure your online reputation is gleaming.

  9. BoldLeads is a Chandler, Arizona company that has developed an automatic lead system useful to professionals in the real estate industry. The tool created by BoldLeads is simple to use and helps maximize resources to get the largest possible number of leads in the shortest amount of time.
