Why was WIN formed? • Fragmentation of information and knowledge • Lack of clarity on how to access information & lessons • Limited effective response to user needs • Information and knowledge undervalued • Learning and sharing culture untapped • Potential for greater effectiveness through synergy & coordination

What are the objectives of WIN? • Incremental improvement of access to and use of information and knowledge • Appropriate information for improved water services sector performance • Create a culture of learning and sharing amongst sector stakeholders. • Strengthen the capital & potential of WS information / knowledge centres & maximise returns on existing investment
