Ongoing collaborations / ongoing programmes that have potential to develop into collaborative programmes • Eco-Thinking Journal – collaborative journal of RCEs - RCE British Columbia; research students will assist in editing • Google map of the RCEs and their expertise - RCE Graz • Sharing expertise - going beyond national agendas; how to evolve into ‘global learning space’ • Evaluation of actions of Higher Education with respect to Traditional Knowledge (in a form of Guide) - RCE Guatemala • Collaboration around bio-monitoring of water (including sharing data via Google Earth tool) - RCE KwaZulu Natal • Sejahtra Project RCE Tongeyong – biannual theme Traditional Knowledge

Ongoing collaborations / ongoing programmes that have potential to develop into collaborative programmes • Finding ways for optimization of resource use - RCE Saskatchewan • Clarifying strategies for functioning in the challenging political environments • Experience exchange on the community development issues – pathways of documenting, critical analysis, exchanging, programme for youth exchange between the continents - RCE Kakamega; • Expanding work with youth (especially at the HEIs) in the area of climate adaptation, mitigation - RCE Swaziland • Popular education • Mentoring programme for the young RCEs - RCE Minna • Proposal for the side event during the World Conference in Nagoya – RCE Chubu • Inviting other RCE to important ESD events - RCE Oldenburg Munsterland

Ongoing collaborations / ongoing programmes that have potential to develop into collaborative programmes • Partnering with other RCEs as a strategic goal (in various forms) • Youth summits and conferences - RCE Graz • Working with policy –makers and policy advocacy – exchange among the policy makers ; engaging with key partners - NEMA • Peace education - RCE Kakamega • Webinars and other models of engagement on line AND during the conference(s) – RCE West Sweden • “Tell us where you travel” scheme  • Dealing with our carbon footprint – ideas for offseting

  5. Small partnerships around shared goals (‘never walk alone’) • Topics - Water - Traditional Knowledge , Target groups/participants - researchers - youth - communities • Carrier topic – Global Informed Citizenship for sustainability - Relations to ESD – (education is not simply a ‘tool’) • Tools / Enablers – exchanges among the sectors (e.g. HEIs), Eco- Thinking journal, mentoring, webinar, skype meetings, video conferencing, google map, personal visits and exchanges, assessments, social networking platforms, volunteers and volunteers exchanges (e.g. volunteers programme of the RCE Western Jalisco), documentaries social media, you tube etc

Responsibilities : • Water - RCE Kakamega, RCE Delhi, RCE KZN, RCE South Rift Valley, RCE Western Jalisco, RCE Grand Rapids, RCE Greater Nairobi, RCE Nyanza, RCE Mount Kenya East, RCE Mau • Traditional Knowledge – RCE Tongyong, RCE Guatemala, RCE Makana, RCE Mina, RCE Mau RCE Greater Pwani, RCE South Rift, RCE Nyanzza, RCE Espoo, RCE Chubu, RCE Mount Kenya East Some identified ongoing work as enablers: • RCE Greater Dhakar, RCE Kakamega – volunteers programme • Google maps – RCE Graz, RCE KwaZulu Natal • Sustainable Cities – RCE Espoo • Eco-Thinking Journal (RCE British Columbia), RCE Kakamega, • Webinar/s (RCE West Sweden) • Annual YUVA Meet (RCE Delhi) • Need for documentation of engagements
