Agenda 12:00p Welcome/Call Meeting to Order – Melcher • Review agenda • Approval of Minutes from 10/16 Council Meeting 12:05p Old Business (20) • 2012-2013 Budget Discussion/Approval – Melcher 12:30p New Business • Funding for Student Lunches at NASA Technology Days. • Individual Status Reports (5 min each) • Look forward more than backward – primary focus is events/activities between now and 01/15/2013 meeting. 1:15p   Adjourn

  4. 2012-2013 Budget Discussion/Approval • Budget Presentation/Discussion • Budget Approval

New Business (1/3) • Funding for Student Lunches at NASA Technology Days. • Individual Status Reports (4 min each) • Administrative – Melcher • NASA Ethics Issues • NASA members – be sure to follow ethics issues when using email • Wong – Get new email list server work ASAP. Discontinue use of NASA list server. • Suggest using personal email address instead of NASA email address. • No more use of Today@Glenn to contact section members. • To contact Melcher please use melcherkj5743@windstream.net • Review of Section Bylaws • Forming review committee: Melcher, Arend, Linne, Wolter (?) • Target is to present recommended changes to NOS Council in JAN2013.

New Business (2/3) • Awards – Melcher (for Pestak) • AIAA Fellows announced • Betty D. nominated as Educator of the Year • Engineer of the Year Award nominations • Communication – Wong • Lunch & Dinner Programs - Gilland • Industry – Salay • Membership – Swetky • Pre-University – Melcher (for Henson) • YAD 2012 held on 11/3/2012 - Kleinhenz • Submitted request for Cat III funds for student lunches at NASA Technology days
