  3. Conference Planning Committee (CPC) • NWQMC Communications and Outreach Work Group plans conference • Conference Co-Chairs: • Chuck Spooner (USEPA) • Jawed Hameedi (NOAA) • Eric Vowinkel (USGS) • MOU with WEF to facilitate conference

NWQMC Conference 2008 • Where: Pennsylvania Conference Center (PACC) • When: Sunday (5/18) – Thursday (5/22/2008) • Who: Many organizations are on board to co-host a National Conference in Philadelphia • What: Perfect combination of water-quality/quantity issues in watersheds, estuaries, and coasts in the Delaware Basin (urban/agr)

  7. PACC Convention Center • Large facility in Center City • Many layouts available • Exhibit Hall C and 100-Level meeting rooms selected • Sliding scale costs depending on amount of food costs • Catering by ARAMARK • WEF will handle logistics with PACC

PROPOSED WEF MOU MILESTONES • Activity 1: Participate in Conference Planning Committee conference calls • Activity 2: Invite speakers to the conference • Activity 3: Provide catering services for the conference • Activity 4: Provide transportation for such field trips as may be planned • Activity 5: Complete and manage all registration details • Activity 6: Arrange for one evening reception • Activity 7: Provide on-site support for the conference
