  2. STRENGTHS Position 1 In the centre of the town, well connected with theother parts of the town and the suburbs – important for the students who are commuters 2 A parking spot for the van that transportsstudents with disabilities to and from the school

  3. STRENGTHS Equipment and class organization 1 The beginning and the end of the classes are adjusted to the traffic demands of the students 2 The equipment of the cabinets is optimal 3 The information technology and library are continuously extended and renewed 4 The inclusion of students with disabilities in the regular classes is implemented through models of complete and partial integration

STRENGTHS Educational aspect 1 Numerous extracurricular activities and projects 2 The students are given the opportunity to participate in competitions and festivals 3 The school is involved in humanitarian projects in the community and cooperates with suitable organizations 4 The school is involved in international projects and initiates contacts withstudents from the European countries, encourages the exchange of knowledge, widening of the competences and communication 5 The inclusive approach is practiced, individualized programmes are made for the students with disabilities 6 At the end of the secondary education, the students are qualified and can compete at the labour market but can also continue their education after passing the state exam 7 Adult education – finishing the secondary education

  6. WEAKNESSES Educational aspect 1 Certain students are not motivated enough 2 Behaviour problems of certain students and absences from classes 3 Certain teachers do not develop their competences at the necessary level

  7. OPPORTUNITIES Equipment and class organization 1 Further equipping of classrooms with educational technology 2 A more intensive use of the existing computers and didactic equipment

OPPORTUNITIES Educational aspect 1 Encouraging the students’ creativity and interests with the possibility of including into projects on the local, state and international level 2 Encouraging the teachers’ creativity and modernizing the work with modern didactic instruments 3 Modernization of methods and styles of teaching

  9. THREATS 1 The position of the school in the centre of the town 2 Working in two shifts 3 Stimulating the teachers – impossibility of rewarding the motivated teachers
