  3. 1. Introduction. Agribusiness Special Aspects • Ground is the main means of production (we use the physical and chemical properties of the soil to produce crops). • 2. Ground is a subject of labor (tilling). • 3. Living organisms act as means of production. Their evolution occurs according to biological laws. • 4. Agriculture depends on soil and climatic conditions. • 5. There is a mismatch between the working period and the production period in agriculture. Winter rye has a production period of 300 days and a working period of 30-40 days. • 6. Agricultural products are used in the further production process (fodder, seeds, etc.)

  6. 2.1.An Individual. Private Subsidiary Farm (PSF) Сitizens' private subsidiary farm is a form of economic and labor activity of citizens in the production of agricultural products, based on the use of sites of land for these purposes in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on Land Conservancy. Farm buildings, livestock, poultry, perennial plantings may be situated in the citizens' private subsidiary farm as a private property. Information about citizens' private subsidiary farm is recorded in the rural household register of the village (settlement) executive and administrative body in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.   7. Private Subsidiary Farm (PSF) Citizens carry out private subsidiary farm at their discretion and on their own responsibility. The activities of citizens engaged in private subsidiary farm on the production, processing and sale of their agricultural products do not apply to entrepreneurial activity Сitizens' private subsidiary farm does not have the goal of systematical income generation (profit) from the production, processing and sale of their agricultural products. Disposal of surplus. Private subsidiary farm main purpose is to satisfy citizens' personal needs on sites of land provided and (or) acquired for maintaining a private subsidiary farm.

Private Subsidiary Farm (PSF) Sites of land are provided to citizens of the Republic of Belarus for conducting private subsidiary farm as private property, lifetime inheritable possession or lease. The maximum size of a site of land provided to a citizen of the Republic of Belarus as private property or lifetime inheritable possession for private subsidiary farm cannot exceed 1 hectare, and for lease - 4 hectares, taking into account the size of the site of land provided on the territory of the corresponding village council for residential building construction and (or) service, service of a registered organization for state registration of an apartment in a blocked residential building.

  9. 2.2.A Legal Entity Peasant Farm Holding (PFH) A peasant farm holding is a commercial organization created by one citizen (members of one family) who has made (made) property deposit to carry out entrepreneurial activities in the production of agricultural products, as well as in their processing, storage, transportation and sales based on his (their) personal labor participation and use of the site of land provided for these purposes in accordance with the legislation on Land Conservancy (hereinafter - a farm business). Voting citizens, members of the same family, can be members of the farm business. Family members are recognized as spouses, their parents (adoptive parents), children (including adopted), brothers and sisters, spouses and children of these persons, as well as other persons recognized as family members in accordance with the legislation on marriage and family.

Peasant Farm Holding (PFH) • PFH acts under the Charter. • PFH is considered created from the moment of registration and acquires the status of a legal entity, opens bank accounts, owns a stamp with its name. • Citizens are provided with sites of land in lifetime inheritable possession of up to 100 hectares of agricultural land to conduct PFH at their request. • PFH - single tax payers are entitled to keep accounting records in a simplified system subject to the following criteria: • - the average number of employees for a calendar year is 15 or less people; • - sales proceeds (services) for the year does not exceed the amount equivalent to 110 thousand base value. • PFH are excused from paying all types of taxes within 3 years from the date of registration.
