  2. Something to think about… “Can you honestly say that your school’s curriculum and the programs you use are preparing your students for 2015 or 2020? Are we preparing them for today? Is your curriculum replacing older methodologies with new tools for communicating and sharing? Or is the use of technology an event?...if the path is going to be 1973 and students know it, then their will and desire to engage is diminished” (Curriculum 21 by Heidi Hayes Jacobs)

Types of Technology and their uses… • We are going to briefly look at a number of different types of technology that can be integrated into your classroom • Take note of which ones appeal to you • Be open minded • Be ready to take a risk • Be ready to make a mistake • Be ready to let your students help you!

  5. Teachers can guide a class through the use of powerful questions. Assessment For Learning 1. Post 2 of your favorite photos in the forum. 2.
