  2. Data Available • Four basic categories of data • Accessions • Requests • Delivery • Circulation • Detailed information can be found at the ReCAP Data Center • Website now includes introductory presentations for all basic categories AND analysis ReCAP Columbia University

  3. Accessions/Requests by CLIO Location • TOTAL : 11,703 / 1,914 (Request Rate 4.38%) • off,bmc: 11,703 / 1,914 (4.38%) CLIO Beta: CLIO Legacy: ReCAP Columbia University

Butler Media Center • BMC began to transfer collections to ReCAP in July 2007 • Collections include multiple formats: DVD, VHS, laserdisc and others • CLIO location off,bmc is assigned to all BMC collections at ReCAP • BMC collections are assigned customer code CV at ReCAP • Fewer items have been accessioned since FY10 • In FY13 East Asian began accessioning DVDs in off,bmc ReCAP Columbia University

  7. Requests • CLIO location off,bmc is assigned to all BMC collections at RECAP • BMC collections at ReCAP may only be delivered to the Milstein Reserves desk ReCAP Columbia University

Request Rate • Request rate is a measure of collection usage • It is the percentage of ReCAP collections requested during a twelve-month period • Provides staff one way to gauge overall use of offsite collections • Request rate is one factor used to structure ReCAP facility staffing model • Patron access to offsite collections is excellent: dynamic with few failures • Measured two ways: • Annual • Lifespan ReCAP Columbia University
