  4. To meet the deadline = finish on timeTo fall behind schedule = make slow progressTo catch up = get back to the original scheduleTo be back on track = work to the predicted schedule

  5. To finish ahead of schedule = finish before the planned dateTo allocate resources = make use of money/time/peopleTo stay within budget =spend the right amount of moneyTo delegate tasks = give people responsibilities

  8. In time and on time In time means having enough time to be able to do something. If we leave now, we’ll be there in time for the meeting. On time means at the correct time. I have to be at work at 9 a.m. and I always arrive on time.
