  4. New Deal Plan • Created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. • Designed to help the US recover from the Great Depression. • Programs that gave people food, shelter, and jobs during the Depression.

  5. TVA (TN Valley Authority)

  6. The TVA built twenty dams to control flooding, generate hydroelectrical power, increase agricultural production, and strengthen the Tennessee Valley region.
