  3. Internationalisation at Macquarie Definition The process of integrating an international and inter-cultural dimension into the teaching, research and services of Macquarie University.

  4. Objectives and Strategies Internationalisation operates at the Student, Curriculum, Staff and Research levels with key objectives and measurable outcomes for three strategies: • Incorporating inter-cultural and global perspectives into research, learning and teaching activities and community service engagement; • Enhancing and ensuring the quality of educational activities and strategic partnerships; and • Diversifying recruitment, curricula and student experience.

An assessment of how each of these factors relates to the faculty Recruitment processes - diversification - ethical and sustainable recruitment procedures - recruitment of suitably qualified students Admission standards - applications assessed in accordance with approved and published guidelines - consistency in standards Academic protocols for program approvals - approval for offshore program delivery - formal agreements with partners and pathway providers with provisions for regular reviews - approval for changes to admissions standards, including English language requirements
