  3. THE SCHOOL YEAR • Fall Semester and Spring Semester • 8 classes over the entire year, 4 at a time • 1 class = 1 credit • STUDENTS MUST EARN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS TO BE PROMOTED • Four 90-minute periods • Same classes every day • School begins at 7:15 and is dismissed at 2:15 • Homeroom

  4. DRESS CODE Students may NOT wear: • Hats, sweatbands, sunglasses, hoods, do-rags or bandannas. • Shirts that expose the midriff or back. • Strapless tops, spaghetti strap tops or tops that expose undergarments or show visible cleavage. • See-through shirts. • Tank tops (males or females) • Shorts or skirts must come to the middle of the thigh. • Leggings must be worn with a skirt, pants, shorts or dresses that abide by the mid-thigh rule. • Clothing that represents gang affiliation or promotes alcohol, tobacco, illegal substances, weapons or profanity. • Pajamas or bedroom slippers. • NO SAGGING!!
