Women to Women HIV Affected Women Reach Out and Act on PIR • Actions • Local-to-local dialoguesraise joint awareness among stakeholders at all levels • Resolution of property grabbing conflicts at grassroots level • Knock-on autonomous community-initiated meetings and activities • CPOL assistance to trained women – referrals to the Chief and Magistrates court; home-based support and counselling • Monthly watchdog group meetings – rights advocacy and counselling • Trained paralegal in community casework – home visits and family-to-family dialogue

Women to Women HIV Affected Women Reach Out and Act on PIR • Outputs • Within the new outreach areas and through • community dialogue… • 249 women had their property returned, including stands for housing • 148 wrote wills • 103 women obtained birth certificates for their children • 100 women obtained national IDs • > 600 women learned about their constitutional rights • 60 women were trained as community paralegals
