What should you do if you get hurt

What should you do if you get hurt?

  • · Get to safety, ask for help and/or seek emergency medical attention.

  • · Once you are stabilized and no longer in danger of further injury, report the injury to your supervisor. Your supervisor will help you obtain the medical attention you may need.

  • · Obtain the injury reporting form from your building administrative support and fill them out, if you can, or take the forms with you as you seek medical attention. (The district will always encourage your medical provider to treat injuries without regard to paperwork, but we have encountered medical provider who will not provide non-emergent care without these forms filled out by yourself and your supervisor).
