  2. What is a Mollusk? A mollusk are coelomates with a muscular foot, a mantle, and a digestive tract with two openings, such as an octopus , squid, snail and others.

  3. Body parts Mollusk have bilateral symmetry, a soft internal body, a digestive tract with two openings, a muscular foot, and a mantle.

  4. Mantle The mantle is a membrane that surrounds the internal organs of the mollusk. The mantle secretes calcium carbonate to form ashell around some mollusks.

  5. Radula Radula is a tongue like organ with rows of teeth that is used to scrape algae off rocks.

  6. systems The mollusk has 4 systems the circulatory system, respiratory system, nervous system, and the excretory system. Most mollusk have a open circulatory system ,but others can have a closed circulatory system that consist of blood confied in vessels that move through the body

  7. reproduction Mollusk are hermaphrodites and can reproduce sexually or asexually, which gives it an advantage. The male organ are the gills .
