  3. Main Problem • The main problem in the story was when Randolph didn’t cast Mrs. Mostrose’s daughter in the play so Mrs. Monstrosecancels the play. What will they do?!

  4. Summary This book is about this boy named Jake who originally lived in Rhode Island who has to live with a family he has nothing in common with. He smokes, swears, and doesn’t respect other people. The Applewhites are a unique family and have all different talents. That’s nothing like Jake. How will Jake survive the Applewhites?   5. Connections 1. I connect to E.D. because I have met someone I don’t like before like she doesn’t like Jake in the beginning of the book. 2. I can connect to Jake because once when I have something special to give someone they sometimes are just NOT in the mood.
