Why Home Base? • Improving teacher effectivenessby providing tools aligned to NC’s Standard Course of Study that promote efficiency by connecting grade books, lessons, instructional resources, and assessments • Ensuring daily parent access to student grades and assignments • Providing time saving toolsthat give ongoing data, results, and recommendations to teachers and students

  9. PowerSchool Expectations • Everyone takes attendance in PS • Everyone uses PS grade book (interim and quarterly grades only for K-2) • Student and Parent portals not open until at least second nine weeks

  10. PowerSchool Training • Online through PowerSource • Today for those who have not completed face to face or online training • There are PowerSchool trainers at each school
