  1. WEEK 2

  2. Interaction with Nature, Interaction with Ideas and Non- verbal Interaction

  3. BIO-POEM I am the flower I ambeautiful I give beauty But I lack water And it makes me weak Could you waterme please? I am the sea I amsalty I give sea foods But you throw garbage on me And it makes me sad Could you please stop polluting me please?

  4. Interaction with nature • Interaction with nature in my own point of view is simply by being sensitive to what is happening and will still happen to our ecosystem. • Caring our natural resources is an example of interacting with nature.

  5. I say that it touches a man that his blood is sea water and his tears are salt, that the seed of his loins is scarcely different from the same cells in a seaweed, and that of stuff like his bones are coral made.

  6. Interaction with Nature and Interaction with Ideas • Interaction with nature is also interacting with ideas. It is done when we reflect, ponder and react on everything that surrounds us. • We express our opinions and ideas through communication and therefore these opinions are being thought thoroughly before sharing it to others.

  7. DEFORESTATION Indiscriminate cutting or over-harvesting of trees for lumber or pulp, or to clear the land for agriculture, ranching, construction, or other human activities.

  8. Without human activities, losses of soil through erosion would in most areas probably be balanced by the formation of new soil. • On virgin land a mantle of vegetation protects the soil. • When rain falls on a surface of grass or on the leaves of trees, some of the moisture evaporates before it can reach the ground.

  9. Trees and grass serve as windbreaks, and a network of roots helps to hold the soil in place against the action of both rain and wind. • Agriculture and lumbering, as well as housing, industrial development, and highway construction, however, partially or wholly destroy the protective canopy of vegetation and greatly speed up erosion of certain kinds of soils. • Erosion is less severe with crops such as wheat, which cover the ground evenly, than with crops such as corn and tobacco, grown in rows.

  10. Interaction with Ideas • Interaction with ideas pertains to the feedback or reaction a speaker gave to an idea or opinion. • Giving a comment, criticism, or a response to your own idea or ideas of others is an example of interaction with Ideas.

  11. Reflection: Have you ever felt the need to be alone? • Yes Why do you need to be alone? • I need to be alone because I want to think deeper and reflect on the things that brought me to where I am right now.

  12. Alone There are times when I feel so down I want some space, I want to face the consequences alone because I believe so that I can do it and that I am the person who never gave up no matter how intricate that problem is. Often times, I think of my family and my future. I wanted to reach and achieve my goals in life and that I know I can do it Independently.

  13. Comics

  14. Today, we could no longer get something free from anybody either from our family. Everything that we receive is for sure expected to have an exchange. Gone were the days we give something that is coming within our hearts, gone were the days we give because we have plenty of it. Today, we give because we want that people would have a thing to recall us, we give because we pity them much, we give because we want to tell them we are rich. If I could 0nly bring back those times…..-I already did it..

  15. Non-verbal Interaction • Non- verbal Interaction is understanding and apprehending gestures, postures and anything not pertaining to oral communication. • An examples of non-verbal interaction would be: -smile -nod -thumbs up and down -frowning
