Project is financed by: 2009–2014 Funds of Norwegian financial mechanism (programme No. LT11 „Visuomenės sveikatai skirtos iniciatyvos“ measure „Sveikatos priežiūros paslaugų teikimo mokyklose ir ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose gerinimas“). Support and co-financing amounts to 100 per cent of the total eligible project costs. • Project is implemented by:

Project objective – Improvement of provision of health care services in Šalčininkai region, Vilnius region ir Vilnius city schools and pre-school educational institutions; • Main goal of the project- To equip 200 health care cabinets with necessary equipment; • Term of project implementation– February 2015 – January 2016.

  4. PROJECT . Aims to improve the provision of healthcare services and working conditions for specialists in health cabinets of municipality educational institutions.During the project it is it is planned to equip with furniture/other equipment the following: • Šalčininkai r. municipality (problematic teritory) 15 schooland 7 pre-schooleducational institutionhealthcare cabinets. • Vilnius r. municipality 21 schoolsand 11 pre-schooleducational institutionhealthcare cabinets. • Vilnius citymunicipality 74 schoolsand 72 pre-schooleducational institutionhealthcare cabinets. Extensive list of participants: http://www.vvsb.lt/sveikatos-kabinetu-atnaujinimas/ Healthcare cabinetshave been selected after running a survey about the need of equipment in the healthcare cabinets in educational institutions by Vilnius City Public Health Bureau.

  5. Project target group – specialists of schools and pre-school educational institutions and children/youth attending such institutions.

  6. Project financing • Project implementation funds – 246,576.47 EUR

  8. Equipment, which will be provided to healthcare cabinets of municipality educational institutions

Health cabinet furniture and other equipment: • working table – 79 units • specialist’s chair – 108 units • lockable filing closet - 161units • closet for operational instruments and a wardrobe – 125 units • chairs for pupils – 135 units • medical couches – 124 units • screen – 193 units • washbasin – 90 units

  10. Equipment for evaluating public health risk factors: • body weight scales – 119 units • meter - 115 units • Blood preasure measuring device - 110 units • Body temperature measuring thermometer – 71 units • Tool for measuring visual acuity – 164 units

  11. Equipment for evaluating the surroundings of shool/pre-school educational institutions: • Tool to measure the level of carbon dioxide (CO2), ambient temperature thermometer, air humidity – 6 units • Lighting level meter – 6 units

  12. Information communicational technology tools: • telephone – 160 units • video camera or camera with a memory card – 196 units • printer – 182 units • audio center – 192 units
