Child Care in the County • 100s of child care providers (500+) • Family, friends and neighbors • Varying levels of training and education • Limited access to County Library’s 15 branches • 14.7% - language other than English in home • 19% - children 0-5 living in poverty • 19.6% - Latino or Hispanic origin
