Box Tops!

1. Box Tops! The winner for March was Ainsley Robinson from Ms. Sweitzer's class.  The total Box Tops collected so far this year is 27,002 which is $2,702 for the school.  The top five classes are: Bell (5) 2,348 Johnson (1) 2,171 Kent (5) 1,931 Pinckney (2) 1,829 Stepien (3) 1,815 School supply kit orders due Friday, May 18th! Again this year the PTA is offering parents the opportunity to purchase their child’s school supply kit from SchoolKidz (a Staples company). Last year was the first time the PTA participated in this program and almost one-fifth of the student body ordered their school supplies this way. This is a teacher reviewed and approved order supply list for the 2012-2013 school year. The program is not being used as a fundraiser and we hope you find the prices to be reasonable. Plus, you have the added bonus of not having to shop for school supplies in the Fall! If interested in purchasing a school supply kit for your child you can order on-line at www.shopttkits.com (Ridgeway account number 33776), or you can return the order form sent home with your child with a check made out to Ridgeway PTA. All orders (whether made on-line or via paper form) and payments are due by Friday, May 18th. This is a voluntary program. Kits will be available for pick up at the Teacher Meet and Greet in August (exact date to be provided later).
