  4. How is technology affecting the learning process?

  5. Technology expedites the learning process. Using technology, such as power points and websites, makes note taking and research tasks easier.

  6. Technology greatly affects the learning process. Kids respond to the technology and love the opportunity to use technology themselves.

  7. When you hear the phrase “technology integration”, what does that mean to you?

  8. Technology will be used in the classroom.

  9. Technology will be used while teaching a specific concept. The technology being used should help the student learn what is being taught.

  10. If you were in charge of designing the modern classroom, what would it look like?

  11. It would be technology centered. A projector, Promethean Board, and students would have notebook computers instead of textbooks.

  12. The classroom would have to include a Promethean Board and netbooks for the students to use.

  13. Are you happy with the level of technology used at your school?

  14. Yes. Classes at Carrollton High School use technology frequently.

  15. Somewhat. It seems that some classrooms have tons of technology, while others have very little—if any.

  16. Has technology changed the way you work in your classrooms and has it changed your assignments?

  17. Yes. We actually use laptops in math. We type essays, create power points, and create videos. We even dissect frogs digitally in Biology.

  18. Do you feel that integration of technology into classrooms has had a positive impact?

  19. The impact has definitely been positive. Technology allows students to be more involved in the learning process.

  20. Absolutely—kids really respond to the use of technology.

  21. Can you provide any recommendations to improve access to and use of technology?

  22. The only recommendation I have is to use technology in more areas!
