  3. Education • C.L.C. (AA) • Black Hawk College (Equine Science, Horse Technology) • W.I.U. (English Education) • Roosevelt University—Graduate Program (Special Education)

  4. Interests? • Music (both listening to and playing) • Reading literature (predominantly fiction) • WRITING (predominantly poetry) • Animals (dogs, horses, fish, everything) • Athletics (basketball, baseball, riding) • Training (Reining prospects) • Teaching!!!

  6. Previous Experience • Timber Ridge Therapeutic School • Winslow Junior High School *6th Year of Teaching!!!!

  7. 2014-2015 I am incredibly excited to be working with all of you this year. I promise you that if you give it your all, you WILL be successful. This is my second year here at the junior high. Let’s make it the best one yet. I am going to push you—to challenge you—but I promise you I will never ask you to do something that you cannot do without total success as long as you try!

  8. A Word on Goal Setting • It is always important to set goals for yourself, both short-term and long-term. • My goals for this year include trying new things, amping up my curriculum, and ensuring that you all grow as writers and have an incredibly successful year.
