  1. SMT Maintenance and Support Suggested Enhancements for Potential AMWG CRs 1 1

  2. Potential Enhancements Inventory 2

  3. Item # 1 – Add meter functionality using CSV file with a ROR association does not work when the file contains meters of multiple RORs Problem Statement / Requirements: • When trying to add meter using CSV file that contains meters from multiple RORs, users can select only one ROR for validation. However the since the file contains multiple RORs, the add meter functionality fails with invalid ROR messages. Before adding ROR validation (SMT R4.2/4.4) add meter with multiple RORs used to work as the ROR selection while submitting the request was not required. Brief Description / Approach: • Enhancement will involve allowing user to select multiple RORs on Portal screen Validate each record in the CSV file to ensure each ESIID/Meter is associated with one of the selected ROR

  4. Item # 2 – Users are able to Add Meter on SMT Portal with Old RORs, should be allowed to add with Current ROR only Problem Statement / Requirements: • When adding a meter, users can select an old ROR that they belonged to and can add meter. • Should only be allowed to add meter with current ROR Brief Description / Approach: • Before the ROR validation was added in SMT R4.2/4.4, there was no problem, as it was never required. • This will require the validation rules to be changes to compare only with the current ROR

  5. Item # 3 – Request to provide support for SFTP protocol for FTP Problem Statement / Requirements: • SMT currently supports FTPS for secure FTP • SFTP is the newer secure FTP protocol and some Market Participants are interested moving towards SFTP Brief Description / Approach: • SMT Refresh is going through software version upgrades • New FTP software version will allow SFTP protocol but it needs to configured and tested to ensure both FTPS and SFTP are supported

  6. Item # 4 – Offer data usage reading in KVA and display Power Factor number Problem Statement / Requirements: • Request is to provide energy usage readings in KW, KVA, KVAr for demand, and Power Factor Brief Description / Approach: • Currently SMT does not have these values in the database. TDSPs are currently not providing this information to SMT.

  7. Item # 5 – Provide more intuitive or upfront information about user name and password requirements while registering Problem Statement / Requirements: • Specific requirements/rules about username or password are not do not show up intuitively. The username and password information is in Help and FAQs. For, example use of special characters etc. is not allowed but the errors displayed don’t provide sufficient information. • User name and password requirements should be shown on registration page for ease of use. For example in a mouse roll over Brief Description / Approach: • Provide specific information intuitively on registration page

  8. Item # 6 – Show day of week (Monday, Tuesday … ) along with usage date on the portal and in reports Problem Statement / Requirements: • Currently the day of the week is not displayed on portal or in reports for usage data. For longer duration data views it is difficult to keep track of which date falls on which day and hence any identification of usage patterns. Having day of use information available adjacent to date would help. Brief Description / Approach: • For monthly or longer data views and reports, show day of week. • No need to store this data in database due to space constraints, but this can be calculated run time to be displayed on screen. • Providing this information in reports should be optional and only for shorter duration extracts, otherwise it can require lot of processing and file space for the reports.

  9. Item # 7 – Ability to view interval data for the entire billing period Problem Statement / Requirements: • Ability to view interval data on portal for the entire billing period Brief Description / Approach: • Currently SMT provides viewing of intervals for an entire selected billing period through an extract report for that billing period. • To display interval data for an entire billing period on the screen would require some sort of scrolling . For billing (month duration) data will be mailed when requested

  10. Item # 8 – Option to have residential customers receive a usage data report delivered monthly via e-mail Problem Statement / Requirements: • Ability for a residential customer to have an option to receive usage data report monthly via e-mail Brief Description / Approach: • May provide option in user profile, can also provide option for the user to set the billing period dates.

  11. Item # 9 – Change ‘Overview’ tab to read ‘Home’ Problem Statement / Requirements: • The existing tabs on the portal are called ‘Overview’, “Residential”, and “Business”, The overview information was removed with SMT Third Party and usability changes in the last release. Therefore, “Home” would be a better description for that tab. Brief Description / Approach: • Need to rename the tab to read ‘Home’, upon clicking this the user should be taken to landing page.

  12. Item # 10 – Remove SMT demo video from private site Problem Statement / Requirements: • Remove SMT demonstration video from private site. The SMT demonstration video was removed from the public site during the Third Party and Usability latest release. Brief Description / Approach: • Remove the demonstration video from the Private site
